I’m Pheak. I build practical web apps for small to mid-size teams: booking systems with email/SMS reminders, inventory & timesheets, dashboards, and custom admin tools — mostly with OctoberCMS/Laravel and I also worked WordPress/Elementor brochure sites and landing pages.

Web Developer & System administration

University of Minho,IPC/ 2024 - current
Responsible for developing and maintaining internal web systems and server infrastructure at IPC. Built management tools using OctoberCMS and Laravel, including booking, timesheet, and material tracking modules. Handled full-stack development, database design, and automation tasks such as email notifications and scheduled reports. Also manage Linux servers, performing installations, upgrades, and backups for services like Nextcloud and Redmine, ensuring reliable operation and data security across the department.

Quality Control & After Sale

Soprefa - Componentes Industriais SA / 2021 - 2023
Provided customer support for Soprefa's swimming pool safety cover brand. Managed the development of swimming pool cover products, overseeing the entire product lifecycle. Designed and optimized extrusion dies using OpenFOAM to enhance product performance. Collaborated with the University of Minho and Wolf Dynamics on the "HPC4PE-High Performance Computing for Profile Extrusion" project, developing a CAD-HPC interface.

System Administrator / Research Fellow

University of Minho, Guimarães, Portugal — Sept 2019 – Jan 2020
Worked as a research fellow focused on implementing and maintaining open-source infrastructure tools. Set up and configured project management and collaboration platforms, including Redmine and Nextcloud, on Linux servers. Responsible for Ubuntu installation, MySQL setup and database creation, Redmine plugin integration, QNAP NAS configuration, and implementing backup and restore procedures. Also developed bash scripts to automate routine tasks and created internal documentation and reports.

Network Technical Engineer

Mekong Net Cambodia / 2018 - 2019
Worked on a collaborative project (Smart Pool Cover & Deck Project) involving Soprefa, Centro Tecnológico do Calçado de Portugal, and the University of Aveiro. Developed transparent swimming pool cover profiles with superior physical and UV resistance. Designed composite deck profiles with high dimensional stability. Conducted material rheology tests and designed experimental plans for evaluation. Played a key role in simulating and optimizing the resin deposition process for flexographic stamps.
